The first civilian piloting school in Romania, the "Mircea Cantacuzino" Aviation School, began its activity on May 26, 1928, with the purchase by Mircea Cantacuzino of the first Klemm 20 C.P.

We want readers, through this website, to discover the history of the Mircea Cantacuzino Aviation School. We want to make it known the information about its founders, outstanding students and the acts of courage they have shown.

Even though it had a short life, the establishment of this school, the first air tourism school in Romania, remains an indisputable landmark in the history of Romanian aviation, offering examples of pioneering, courage, initiative, innovation and trust in a better world.
